Experienced Interior Designer

Hiedi Lazenby has over 25 years industry experience and more than 16 years within the care & construction sector, including 10 years as Head of Interior Design for one of the UK's leading purpose-built residential care home developers, LNT Care Developments. Hiedi has a complete understanding of the needs of the end-user and is passionate about interior design being more than just aesthetics - creating environments that allow people to live with dignity through excellent design.

Hiedi has vast experience and knowledge of interior design and more specifically design for older people. My advice would be trust her, the schemes look fabulous and our residents love them. I would highly recommend Hiedi.

Hiedi has designed over 150 award-winning care schemes including dementia care, nursing, residential, extra care and assisted living developments throughout the UK. In-depth knowledge of the construction process, working to specific deadlines and commercial sensitivity with multiple contractors, architects, suppliers and other parties, ensures a seamless design & installation.

Qualifications & courses include BA (Hons) in Design & Technology (including interiors), Stirling University Dementia Services Development Centre (DSDC) 'Intersection of Dementia & Design', BTEC Level 3 Construction, and continued CPD training.

Hiedi's knowledge and expertise comes from a diverse range of projects including new build care homes, care home extension and refurbishment, independent and retirement living developments, nursing and dementia specific care facilities throughout the UK. Many of these projects are award-winning for their innovative design and we are accredited by the Society of British & International Interior Design (SBID).

Hiedi is a Dementia Friend and a Dementia Design Nominee for the Alzheimer's Society "Dementia Innovation of the Year" Award 2017.
